Antioxidants are super! They work by neutralising free radicals in the body. Free radicals aren’t good and high levels can be cancer causing. So by consuming antioxidant-rich food sources such as berries, tomatoes, citrus fruits, colourful vegetable, walnuts, hazelnuts, onions, potatoes, you will minimise cell damage that can lead to heart disease, cancer and even Alzheimer’s! So get eating lots of whole grains and colourful F&V! 🌈
